I studied finance at the University of Tampa from August 2022 through December 2024. Being in Tampa while the city was growing gave me a front-row seat to how fast businesses can move when they get the fundamentals right — and how quickly they fall behind when they don't.
What stood out to me was how many great owners were being overlooked. Not because their product was bad, but because their website, Facebook presence, and marketing hadn't kept up. AI and digital marketing are moving faster than ever, and the businesses that adapt are the ones that win.
The part I enjoy most isn't just growing a business — it's growing the connection with the person behind it. I like getting to know owners as people first: their goals, their families, what keeps them up at night. That relationship is what makes the work good, and it's why the partnerships I build tend to last.
