Business Consulting
Small business consulting from a finance-trained founder
Sometimes the most useful thing is a clear outside opinion. Christensen Ventures offers business consulting for owners in Macomb County, Metro Detroit, and across Michigan who want straight answers on pricing, positioning, margins, and where to spend their next dollar on marketing.
What can a small business consultant help with?
Common topics include whether your prices cover your real costs, how your business compares to competitors in your area, which services or products earn the most, and how much it makes sense to spend on a website or ads. We also help owners decide what to do first when everything feels urgent.
Connor Christensen studied finance at the University of Tampa, so recommendations are grounded in the numbers: budgets that make sense, spending tied to return, and plans that hold up on a spreadsheet.
How does small business consulting work?
We start with a conversation about your business, your goals, and what's keeping you up at night. From there we look at the numbers and information you're comfortable sharing and come back with clear, practical recommendations in plain English. Consulting can be a one-time session or ongoing check-ins as your business grows.
Can the same person carry out the plan?
Because we also build websites and run ads, the advice doesn't stop at a report. If the plan calls for a new site, an online store, or a Facebook campaign, the same person who helped shape the plan can build it. We care about the relationship with you as much as the business itself.

More questions
What kind of businesses do you consult for?
Small and local businesses in Michigan and Metro Detroit, including contractors, service businesses, and online sellers. Remote work is available for US businesses.
Is consulting a one-time thing or ongoing?
Either. Some owners want a single session to make a decision; others prefer regular check-ins.
Do I have to hire you for a website to get consulting?
No. Consulting stands on its own, though we can help carry out the plan if you'd like.
